You need some high explosives to get that root out of there. Remember there is no such thing as too much. All kidding aside. You can get a cheap laser level at Harbor Freight that works pretty well for leveling foundations etc. The laser is pretty weak but if you just turn the head by hand instead of letting it spin there is enough light.

@ Alumitater, Just WOW. I do like that a lot.

Too bad we're not allowed to do that here in HSV. P.O.A. says NO RV's in the yard!

My brother has some bulky looking laser setup that he has on a tripod etc...

The roots of the remnant tree were freaking difficult

It is an AirStream, not "an RV"

Yup as long as we have gravity.

It is an "open" system. Water seeks its level inside hose so water at each end is same. Simple.

This works pretty well. I have used it to level foundations with goot results. I layed out a new laundry room with one like this a few years back.

Motorized Rotary Laser Level Kit

The P.O.A rules say nothing about Airstreams, they only mention RV's. But a call to the office says NO to an Airstream as well.

Glad I live in the county. I don't have to ask anyone's permission as to what I do to my property.

It was once Grandma's house. She actually enjoyed living in a gated retirement community. It's not so bad, but they DO have some rules. (Even as to what color the house can be)

Great place -close to Lake Ouachita, Lake Nimrod, Lake Hamilton, Oaklawn Park (if you like the ponies), Scenic Hwy 7, the Ouachita River, Ola, Danville, and the boyhood home of Bill Clinton (and me). I am dreaming of going to NW Arkansas to Devil's Den to see what it looks like these days.

Devil's Den is pretty close to the top of our favorite places to camp.

If you get a chance, ask for site 65. Then in descending order, 62, 60 and 56.

Sweet!!! If they got the concrete truck in there, the AS should fit just fine. Take pics from vantage points to size it up if they still there!
