Storage Options in Bay Area?

~ Newbie Urban Dweller Needs Crib for New Baby ~

Looking for recommendations for private Airstream storage options within 20-30 minutes of San Jose, CA. I have already called every (every!) RV-enabled storage facility in a 45-minute radius from SJC airport and there is very little currently available. Space needs to accommodate ~ 26 linear feet (23' Flying Cloud + hitch).

Would love to find a private individual with a side driveway or lot next to their home, or a secured space at their shop or business. The area does not need to be covered, just secure.

I'm willing to sign a long-term lease agreement and pay $150/month (for comparison, the commercial RV storage site I prefer is $130/month). Alternatively, if there is someone who has sold their AS and has a space that is only available for a few months until they make their next purchase -- that would work as well. Thanks!

Hi, Pbn... I didn't find any "magic bullets"... I wound up staying somewhere that was well beyond my budget -- but their extra level of services is actually adding up (IMO) to be quite worth the extra money. It's located in Milpitas (so not a terrible drive from Berkeley) and I'm really glad I chose them. Store-Inside is the name of the business, and as it implies, they provide inside storage... private message me on AS Forum if I can answer any questions for you.
