Storage in Arizona Heat

hi everyone, newbie here with my airstream bambi. Super excited about the adventures but very worried about the right place to store it safely in the Arizona heat. How do you protect your beautiful baby from the heat, duststrorms, bugs and everything else ? Is storing in a inside storage garage unit recommended vs storing in covered parking. Also can someone please point to steps to take before storing it away for a week or 2 ? Thank you so much ! This forum has been a life saver

Arizona will work out fine for your new baby. I bought my 2008 from my sister-in-law who bought it new in Albuquerque (similar weather) and stored it outdoors there for 11 years. When I bought it, there was practically no rust on the ferrous metal and the aluminum looked perfect. The only downside is that the a/c shroud is chalky.

If mine is stored for more than a few days without external power, I make sure the tanks are empty, close it up and pull one of the leads off the battery pack. I have the refrigerator chocked open.

Out there, you could probably leave the batteries hooked up if you invested in minimal solar...
