Storage Covers

Dear friends I am a UK Airstreamer and have recently purchased a new International Missouri known as a 534 in Europe . Very happy with it. It is stored in an outside compound and I wonder whether I should have a cover made for it when it is being stored over winter about 4 months of inactivity . Any views friends ?

No. Do not put a fabric cover on your trailer. Covers are know to scratch the finish.

What he said. I believe your documentation references not covering.

I've been an Airstream owner since the early 1990. My trailers stay outside without any cover. Blazing sun, rain, sleet, or snow,...... trailer does fine.

I use a 12' x 30' canopy that I got from Northern Equipment three years ago.

It was cheap and effective, my third summer and my second $100 canopy canvas.

Thank you very much everyone for taking the trouble to reply. I guess a cover is not necessary.

Storage Covers

A cover that actually touches the Airstream at any time causes damage.

Shelter or a canopy is a different situation.
