Shrink rap roof to below awnings.

Hello, I have been storing our Airstream in a pole barn during the winter. I was thinking of leaving it outside next winter (up state Illinois). I have awning on three side of our 2015 25’ International and was thinking of having it shrink rapped just under the awning (just covering the top). Has anyone ever heard of anyone doing this.

With proper venting it could work fine, IMO. I would figure a way to insert a number of foam blocks, holding the lower edges open for good airflow. There will be some antennas to deal with.

You don't want to have the wrap sealed down to the roof. There are commercially prepared vents available that might be a good idea as well.
