Severe cold snap coming

Just noticed that a severe cold snap is coming this weekend.

https://www.accuweather.com/en/winte...e-south/835226

By early Tuesday, Denver is forecast to go down to 12 degrees Fahrenheit, with strong northerly winds!

https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClic...6&AheadDay.y=7

With all the mild weather most of us have been having, it might be time for some quick winterizing.

Just double-checked the weather forecast...it’s actually going to get down to 18 overnight tomorrow! Guess we’re cutting it a bit close!

I renewed my Epic Pass this year. Hopefully that was the right choice. I HATE that A-basin is on Icon Pass now. I may consider that one in the future.

Some parts of WI and MN saw 7 to 8 inches of snow. Thankfully where I live Lake Michigan and Green Bay moderate the evening temps to keep them above freezing. But I blew out the lines yesterday, and this weekend I’ll pump the pink stuff through. Not looking forward to winter. We are moving in January across the state closer to children. Building a new house, and adding an RV garage to the attached garage that will be heated with a dump station in it. I’m looking forward to the fact this will be my last winter of winterizing with pink stuff. Just blowing out the lines from here on. Don’t feel totally comfortable now when it gets below zero here.

Agree on the "white stuff" - we need it to help out the firefighters...

While the smoke plumes make for beautiful sunsets, it's very disturbing to have friends affected by the latest fires.

We’ve been having a cold spell here the past few days, but tomorrow the expected high is near 80 degrees.

One day, then temps start to drop, with highs in the 30’s and lows in the 20’s by this time next week.

Leaves here have just started to turn, and I expect will come down this year still green.

It’s 2020.

Maggie

Ours is heated! Problem is that it is 175 miles away from home. It was the only place we could find but in December she will be stored at our new home, which is another 150 miles north.
