The La Quinta in McAlester south of Muskogee is pet friendly, don't think there were any extra fees. Though my wife booked on her hotel points. That's about an hour or so south of Muskogee on 75. Hope you have a safe journey whatever you do,

At zero degrees a solution of 1/2 water and 1/2 antifreeze is the consistency of a hard slushy. Not quite solid but nearly so. My conclusion is that a 50/50 mixture is treading on thin ice.

My sister-in-law has a Thetford TC25112 porta potti with 5 gal tank. I'm hoping that will fit in the bathroom in front of the trailer's toilet. It has a 16x15 foot print. They have used it to camp when their 5th wheel was winterized.

We decided to delay our trip to Texas until next Tuesday. It will be in the upper 40's for highs, more reasonable to deal with.

A good plan which takes "struggle" out of the equation.

Have fun!
