My own "Public Works Detachment"

When we moved here, it took several months to find a place with some land, little restrictions, and potential for my shop and plenty of service parking for the coach and projects. Finally, it has happened, on schedule before winter sets-in.

Thank you, Lord. Click image for larger version

That's a very nice looking shop building. Is that a Jeep Pick-up?

Many thanks for all the kind words. It's a 79' J-10 Townside with 258, T-14, Dana 44's, dealer A/C. All original survivor. The other two are my IH's: 74 Travelall Custom and 75 200 Camper Special 4x4.

Separate house. We renovated an all-brick early 60's split "Brady Bunch" edition!

Nice JEEP. Sold my '85 J-10 last year. Had planned to keep it but just didn't see it happen. Loved driving it but terrible mileage with the big 360. Yours looks great.
So does the workshop / garage. Makes me jealous

Need more pictures of the jeep

My dad bought my 1986 J20 (restored). I still own a 1990 Grand Wagoneer.

Yes, the AMC V8 is great mill but indeed thirsty. And with only like 16 gallons you see the needle move.

The 258 T-15 combo works very well with this stock truck; averages 16 mpg in mostly suburban traffic with A/C on.

Live in the coach, work on the junk, deploy the awning (and biers) in the evening...that sounds like a plan!
