Mice??

What have people found that works to keep mice out of their trailers during winter? We just put our new AS into a closed storage unit for the winter and of course removed everything possible including the linens/pillows. I have heard drier sheets, peppermint oil but want to hear what works best for others.
Thanks

Poison bait stations outside the trailer, but in the area along with a baited snap trap or three in the trailer for a mouse that might come along is how I do it.

sticky pads work the best
no return customers

sometimes even a family hangs around on the pad

We have found that the Bounce dryer sheets work well. I agree with the post about bait stations outside the trailer. Depending on your local bylaws you may want to get the bait stations from an exterminator.

In Canada the bait stations we can buy at hardware stores are weak. I used them once on our old trailer for a mouse that somehow got in the ceiling during a two week trip. It took over a week for it to die. We could hear it eating and dragging the bait around in the ceiling at night. (no space for a kill trap)

At our house we pay for mouse and vole bait stations and they seem work much faster. Also check the bait stations for activity early on. You may notice that they empty them quickly at first. Then as the population reduces you can leave them a few months. Also note that bait had a shelf life of approx three months.

I hate rodents! Good luck.

Check this thing out: https://www.amazon.com/Odesos-Rodent.../dp/B07FTQ6SM1

No poison. Set it outside your rig. Empty periodically.
