Ideas for covering air conditioner shroud for winter

Hi I have a 1979 31' International. The shroud isn't in the greatest of shape. I'm afraid of all the snow sitting on top of this brittle plastic and squirrels possibly getting in there. Won't have time to put a new shroud up until next year. Any ideas on something to cover this up with for the winter?

Hmm

What about shrink wrapping it? Just do several layers so it is thick enough.

P.S - Throw a piece of plastic over it and tie a rope around the bottom. Bill

If you don't want to inve$t the money in a regular storage cover (and I wouldn't), just use two LARGE plastic garden bags, tied at the base. Should do the trick.
