Hooking in For AF

I wanted to run a bit of AF through the pump after using air. Looking at the pump on my 2017 FC FB I知 very limited with room. With the location of the strainer cup on the inlet I looking for advise.
Is it acceptable to run through the strainer cup or disconnect at pump and screw on an adapter with hose fitting for the AF?
I looked at removing wardrobe floor for better access ... not easy due to number and placement of pocket hole screws.
Hope photo helps. Click image for larger version

Just what I did...

For the first 6 years....After blowing, pumped AF thru the system from the FW tank.(2gal in tank was enough), leave LP drains & all taps open.

From then on.... drain FW tank with street side jacked up, blow lines, remove inlet,(outlet ok too), line to pump & run it 30sec, leave taps & LP drains open, don't forget shower line, add RV AF,(not the cheap stuff) to traps, 1/4cup veggie oil in the crapper.

I pump AF through the strainer. I reach it by going under the fridge in my 25FB.

I cut a big hole in my closet floor to provide access for chasing leaks. Ugly but useful.

I知 looking at options. Thinking it could be easier at this point to remove inlet coupling and screw on a hose to pump AF. Anyone know the coupling size

Winterizing

Camco makes a great kit that you install permanently on the suction line prior to the strainer. The kit is very easy to install with the included instructions.
The kit has a valve and a hose to put in the antifreeze jug.
Drain the hot water tank.
Turn the water heater by-pass valve to by-pass.
After u have blown the water out of your system turn the valve on your installed kit to bypass and with the supplied hose in the antifreeze jug, turn on the water pump. Open each faucet til antifreeze comes out.
Works great. Flush toilet til antifreeze goes in the bowl. Don稚 forget the outdoor shower.

Not everyone has good access and room for that kit.

Room for kit

From the picture I can see it should not be a problem to install the Camco valve. Remove the suction line prior to the strainer and install valve. The valve kit has the correct fittings to connect.
