I used the camco in 25 degree weather, but no colder and I didn't test the water temperature so I don't know how low you can actually go.
You will need to Insulate the water filter and at least 10 inches of the heated hose attached to it plus all unheated hose if you use the filter in cold weather. You can use bubble wrap. but make sure it is at least 1 1/2 inches thick and has no air gaps. Otherwise pipe wrap is preferred. Tell me how cold you want to go and I can get my pencil and slide rule out and give you an idea if it will work.
Many campgrounds do not have insulated and heated faucets. If they do not, they will require that you disconnect overnight so that their pipes don't freeze. Whether or not you have a heated hose. For that reason, I don't even pack mine any more.
