Just to see what would happen, I put a cup of RV antifreeze in my home freezer. At 0 degrees, it had turned to a mushy ice, but had not frozen hard enough to break anything. I don't know at what temp it would have to get down to in order to break a line, but I think at 0 degrees where I live will be pretty safe.

Interesting experiment. Although RV antifreeze isn't meant to be diluted with water, inevitably it will get at least some dilution in some places. It would be interesting to find what percentage of water would let it freeze at 0 degrees.
