Flat screen TVs and cold weather

It appears to be fairly common to remove flat screen LCTVs from Airstreams during cold winters and keep them inside. Seems to me these screens are no different than the GPS screens that are permanently mounted in current model cars and trucks and stay outside all winter.
We have always just left our TV in the trailer and have never had a problem. The temperatures, here, often drop well below Zero.

Some reading while you wait to see if there's any further input on the topic.

The Specs for the Samsung in our trailer say minimum storage temp -4 degs F., but if it gets colder than that here, I will be testing their specs.

depending on your storage arrangements.. 'nother reason to remove might be theft.. friends storage lot had a rash of break-ins, in many of the RV's... stole LCD's, electronics...
