Advice on new driveway for 25' AS

We are working on landscaping in our back yard and are planning to build a parking pad for our 25 ft trailer with our F150. The driveway will go through a fence gate and right out onto a residential street.

This is plan "B" (Plan "A" when we bought the house was to use the existing front driveway but we couldn't make the turn with the truck to get it in the driveway). The front drive was only 8' wide and the street was only 24.5' wide. The road at the back of the house is 29.5' wide - our fence is 3.5' off the road - and the gate is 10' wide. We were thinking about making the pad 12' wide and maybe making the gate 14'...

Are there any lessons learned / gotchas that members have figured out as we design the driveway? I was thinking about making the entrance to the street widen (curve) to one side to get a little extra room for making the turn and setting up full hookups as well. I'd like to use it as a guesthouse/AirBnB and be able to dump tanks when I get home from camping.

Sounds like you have a lot of worry free room and a good plan. Having a solid storm resistant cover would make it perfect.

Size matters....

Make it as long and wide as you can....... 3' more on the street side would make it much easier to work on. Iv'e put pavers down but it's not the same...

How long are you going to make it? Is the TT 25' tongue to tail? I like the idea of widening the pad at the mouth, that makes sense.

The project is done - and the trailer fits! We ended up making the gate opening 14 ft wide (the curb is slightly wider - about 15 ft) and the pad is 12 feet by 30 feet (from the gate to the back). There's not a lot of extra room, but enough on the street side to get in & out. If anything, I would have made the pad longer if we needed to walk behind the trailer (it is 26 feet tongue to bumper). I've attached a picture as well. The base is compacted CR6 with 1" of finer (1/4") gravel on top.
