what kind of electric jack is this?
I need a new switch for my electric jack. Called the company of Carling (who makes the switch) and they said to call the company who made the jack. By looking at the picture, can anyone tell me what brand my jack is? There isn't a name on the jack anywhere. Thanks!

They have them. $24.95..... I'll have to give that some thought--do I want to put that into a 25 year old jack? Hummmmm? I got a new one on my Sovereign, I was going to switch it out to the Bambi II, but a new hand crank is about $35-$40.
Thanks again everyone!

Any electronic supply house should be able to sell you the switch. I use Newark Electronics for that kind of stuff.

I would also check at an auto supply like NAPA. Remove the old switch off and take it in with you. They should be able to fix you up for way less than that.
The guys at the closest NAPA, the AR state warehouse, don't even balk when I tell them I'm working on an RV. Some of them have trailers and RVs too.

I still have the exploded view of my Power Jack. As described earlier, it is H & H Power Jack, Model BPJ. The switch is Part number BPJ-41.

I would repair it and use it with confidence...

Thanks again, everyone. The guy from Barker Mfg. said he was suprised that the switch went out. He said they hardly ever went out. So, that got me thinking....maybe I should take it apart & look inside. Well, well....the springs were out of place! I put them back where they belonged & electrical taped the outside nice & snug & tried it out. Viola! It works again. $25 bucks in my pocket....not like I won't be spending it somewhere else on the poor old Bambi II. Thanks again!
