Tongue Jack Electrical Problem

Barker HP 3000 tongue Jack keeps blowing fuse when engaging toggle switch in the lowering position. Jack works fine when raising. Replaced up/down toggle switch but the problem still exists. Could it be the limit switch assy? If so, is there a way to trouble shoot before replacing? Any thoughts?

At the time you were replacing the switch did you do a careful inspection of the wiring? You might have a chaffed wire causing the problem.

Thanks J-Dog. Yes, I did look over the wiring and also did a ohms check on those within the jack head. All looked okay.
