this is the third time writing this and the last as it won't submit the new thread.
i was wondering what size wrench is needed to manually operate the pwr jack. it would not operate in the cold weather but did fine in the warmer weather. hopefully this will be the case. can you get from as or use a common auto. like tool? the as part # is 80600.
It will of course depend on what make of jack is fitted, but many are by Barker Mfg. This link is to a parts diagram and list for the very common Barker Superjack. Item 22 is the crank handle for use when the electrics are not working. You will see that is for a "dog" fitting (that's how I've always known such a fitting), as on starting handles when vehicles had such an excellent item. I ordered a spare one from Barker as mine was heavily corroded. http://www.barkermfg.com/product_ins...power_jack.pdf
