Lift Kit

I have a 1973 ambassador. Two years ago, i had new, 4,000lb dexter axles installed. I only recently noticed that they installed 0 degree down angle axles, so the trailer rides about as low as it did on the shot, 1973 axles. since the axles are fine besides down angle, i bought the dexter lift kit for #11 axles (about 150 plus shipping) and plan to bold it up in the coming weeks. I'll try to put up a few before and after pics to show the difference.

Best solution would have been the right axles to begin with, but i can't go back to a shop two years later and complain.

Just finished installing the same kit on our 27FB. Haven't had her out yet. Looking forward to less tail dragging at fuel stations etc
Took me about 4 hours with floor jack and hand tools by myself.

Install went ok. Did it off and on over two weekends. Trailer travels 100% better now.

I had to enlarge/move one hole in each lift kit.
