Leveling on the grass

Hey there we have a 22 foot single axle that we need to park on muddy wet grass for a few days and historically we have fallen off of our Choks. We have the typical Camco chocks and are wondering if there’s something bigger flat or more stable to sit down on muddy grass?

Might think of using 3/4” green treated plywood as a base and then put your levelers on that. Maybe make them 3’ by 3’ to give plenty of weight dispersion. Just a thought.

I've been using Hosspads. They are a little difficult to find and expensive but they work better than anything I've used in the past. And they are large. I have four large and four small and they seem to do all I need.

Hi

There are a variety of pads that the 4x4 guys use to get out of the mud. They range from pretty cheap ($50 or so) up into the yikes !!! ($350) range.

How large a footprint you need will depend a bit on just how muddy it is. You can burry just about anything if it gets wet enough and the soil is right.

Regardless of what you use, it will be a mess when you are done. Having water available to rinse it down is a good idea
