Levelers ?

I'm looking at different types of levelers for my, not yet delivered, Classic.

Seems that "Anderson" levelers appear to be very easy to use and stow away.

Anyone using these or others that they think are better ?

Long time Anderson user. Easy to use under most situations. Sometimes simple blocks work better. Just depends on the situation.

I use Anderson levelers. They are much easier than blocks, etc. I use the Levelmate Pro from inside the truck so I know when to stop moving on the levelers.

Anderson. Consider adding some friction tape to them.

We use the Andersen Levelers. The only times they haven't worked well is in soft sand, or if you need more height than they provide, which we've only run into once.

I bought the big lego blocks before I learned of Anderson. Regardless of type, I'd suggest a couple 12" square 1/2 plywood pieces for minute leveling on hard pads. It seems sometimes all I need is a little lift.

On my stabilizer jacks-- our entry door sticks if I don't have them right. Just a little firm pressure on each one.

I use the orange lynx block levelers cause I camp so often on soft and very uneven surfaces and I've found the lynx blocks to be the most versatile, I have 3 sets and have often used all of them. Also good for other things like when I need a couple of extra inches to stand on or when I need filler in the truck bed to keep things from moving. But I've heard good things about the andersons.

DaveMc makes a good point about havin a couple 1/2" pieces of wood. Not sure about the anderson's but the lowest lift on the lynx blocks is an inch and sometimes it's a little too much.

Lots of good info.

We use:

1. Anderson levelers
2. levelmate pro (check your trailer level from the car)
3. we pack 2 packs of lynx blocks.

The lynx blocks are cheap and light. They are useful on soft surfaces and to help the stabilizers get purchase and sometimes the stabilizers do not reach far down enough.

Hope this helps.

Ditto... I also carry a selection of plywood squares. The thing I'd add to this is I have the wheel chocks that go with the Lynx blocks. Let's you know when to stop, because, well, they stop you.

I use Anderson Levelers love the fact I don't have to back on and off yo get the right number of blocks. One problem is on wet grass they can pop out as you pull on to them. I use an old rubber mat under them so they don't slid out.

i use to level mate pro.
the android app connects to it and i can level it from the outside and in the TV. i just get my spouse to place level block under the correct wheel as i am in the TV for L-R.

for F-B , i use the power jack with the app.

when all is level , i extend the 4 built in levelers and use plastic pads under each

I use Andersons and a bigger level stuck to the front of the trailer. I can see the bubble from the truck.

Another vote for the Anderson levelers. I stow them in the boxes in which they are shipped.

I also like the idea of adding friction (non slip) tape to them but have not done so yet. I have had them slip.

I also just bought the Levelmate Pro. I was camping several weeks ago for the first time after installing the Levelmate and spot where we camped was only out of level by 1/4". So I didn't need the Anderson levelers. It was nice knowing exactly how much out of level the trailer was!

I just leave the Andersen levelers at home now. They always seem to be to slippery to use them when I really needed them. Doesn't work in grass. Doesn't work on gravel. They just slide right along with the tire.

We have Andersen levelers with friction tape on them, and Lynx blocks as a backup in case we need them.

Never had a problem on grass or gravel with Andersons. My last trip I set up on gravel. The trip before that I set up on grass right after a rain.

I like the Anderson Levelers. I had to cut off 4" to easily get them in and out between the wheels of my 2015 FC28. Cutting them off did not affect the operation of them. I had to put them on a 1 X 6 board in wet muddy grass.

When I was shopping online, I saw a bundle with Anderson Levelers and some rubber mats that fit around them. Seems like a good all purpose solution... $100...
