where are the jack points ... '82 31' excella

and what if you dont have any indicators on the trailer where to jack. i need to remove all four wheels to have the tires replaced and i dont think i trust the local tire shops to know where to place the jack. Sams wants to set it on the rack in the bay area to replace tires and i have a feeling that the guy doesnt know a lot about airstreams.

so...my '82 31' excella does not have any indicators for jack points...how do i figure out where to place the jack and jack stands?

I would not jack it, why take the risk? Ramp it, replace two tires, then ramp it again and replace the other two. Two trips to the tire store sounds alot safer then putting a few tons on jack stands...

AMEN!! And leave the trailer attached to the TV. Use another vehicle to transport the wheels.

You can place a floor jack, or a bottle jack, between the two tires, and lift the trailer using the "axle mounting plate."

If you wish to add a "jack stand," place it on the axle mounting plate, rearward of the rear tire.

Cursing may be a good 1st step. A last step may be buying a lotto ticket. Cause the odds of getting two flats on one side are high. So you feel a little lucky!!?? Or may be not.
