Hitch jack level lost fluid.

My hitch jack level seems to have lost it's fluid. This I assume is not water, do I need a new one to replace it? Would this be covered under warranty on a 2015? Thanks!

Your stab jack is typical gear driven. Either manual or electric. No fluids other than some grease.

The level fluid is probably alcohol of some liquid that does not freeze at normal winter temps.

I would say you probably need a new one, as I have never seen one lose it's fluid unless it broke.

I have no idea if it would be covered by Airstream, but the manufacturer of the level should cover it unless you smashed it in some sort of accident.

The jack would be covered under the jack makers warranty. Contact them directly. Maybe they can send you a new one. I have found mine to be totally useless.

If the fluid came out with no damage to the level (glass or plastic) I would assume this would be covered under warranty. It has developed a leak. Refiliing it is not an option.

I think Airstream uses Barker jacks still. Contact Barker and they'll probably mail you one out free.

I took the level off and tilted it in all directions and did not see a bubble. I put it in my pocket and later after contacting the dealer went to place it in the refridgerator as they suggested, why I don't know. When I took it out of my pocket the bubble was there again. I put it back on the tongue jack. Weird, I would have sworn it was empty of fluid.
