2021 tongue Jack

My 2020 International's power jack had an adjustable shaft. Pull the pin and manually adjust the shaft with the ground allowing the jack to be most effective. The power jack's shaft on our 2021 FC is not adjustable. You need to stack a ton of blocks underneath. Is this a FC or a 2021 change? I miss my adjustable jack.

We replaced with the Brute 5500, adjustable foot, remote control and ball bearing worm gear with no teeth to strip.

A nice upgrade for our 18yr old, you're 2020 maybe? It's up to you. You'd always have a good spare.

My 2019 FC had the jack with adjustable foot. My 2021 Classic has the non-adjustable one.

While this appears to be a step backward, I'm cautiously optimistic that this is an improvement. In 18 months of FC ownership, I replaced the OEM jack. Twice. Six months is not an acceptable lifespan for this type of component; here's to the new one lasting longer!

After the OEM jack left me stranded, (coupled with the rear of the truck raised and it refused to go down) I replaced it with the Husky 5000. The Husky has an adjustable foot, as you described, but I just leave it in the shortest position so I can raise it to clear obstacles.
I do carry a block I made, (2) 12" x 12" 3/4 plywood outside a frame of 2 x 4's so it makes a block 12 x 12 x 5. Added a rope pull and I just keep it in the truck while driving. It's not terribly heavy since it's hollow.
