What thickness butyl for vista view window.

I am going to attempt to repair my vista view windows, clean old solar film and re-caulk.
Before I even attempt to fix it I would like to buy the correct size shimmed butyl tape that goes between the the glass and Plexiglas panes
I have searched many post on the forums and can find a lot of info on double pane window thickness but can not find anything specific on the vista view window thickness.

Can anyone please tell me the correct thickness of butyl I will need.

Much appreciated,

No clue, I just know that it's thicker than the double panes that open. Several of us searched for the proper shimmed thickness and couldn't find it. I think I estimated that two layers of the butyl tape that's available in RV stores for putting in vents is about right.

You might PM AZFLYCASTER (Richard). He was looking into this last year.

Hey everyone, I see this thread hasn't had any activity for a while. If any new info was found on this topic it would be great to read about it.
Thanks,
Ruben
