Water Leak from furnance vent?

I have a leak in vicinity of the furnace vent and I was wondering if that might be the culprit. I think water might be filling up the vent tubes enough that they are leaking the water out onto the floor. I guess I could tape the vent holes up and see if that fixes it. The vent came with a piece that looks like a rain diverter that I may try as well. It was not on the original Suburban furnace vent.
