Vulkem 611 vs 636

Oops. I used vulkem 611 instead of 636 to seal the new water heater on my AS. Any major problems with the substitution? It's all I could find locally.
Thanks,
dik

I believe that I read somewhere that the formula for 611 works fine for an Airstream. As I recall the difference is that the texture is a little more grainey looking. That is so that it works well with masonry and looks more like grout. I have used some on my unit and sofar all is well.

If you got the grainier Vulcum then keep your eye on it. I tried some and within a year it started to deteriorate. I have used Trempro 635 from Vintage Trailer Supply which leaves a slick/shiney rubbery finish.
