Vent pipe seal

I sealed the seams on my 1961 bambi with vulkum and I am down to one leak. How do I seal the exterior of the vent pipe? Water is hitting thr pipe and rolling down into the trailer. It had some putty on it so I used plumbers putty, but that isn't going to work. What is the standard for sealing the vent pipe? Thanks!

Get a vent cover, available from many RV suppliers. Here's one from Vintage Trailer Supply Not sure if it's 100% for a 61, but it should take care of the problem. Is there evidence of one of these around the vent?

You can also use the Vulkem on the vent pipe.
