Should the tail lights be sealed?

Not the lens, but the aluminum fixture that fits against the body of the trailer.

Not really, since that bezel fits on the exterior of the quarter panels.

Andy, how does that work? The lights definitely stick into the exterior skin of the Airstream.

Even if not needed to stop leaks, it sure keeps the dirt out which looks better.
