Polyurethane caulk for roof?

Hi all.

I was using Sikaflex 221 to seal roof seams but finding it locally (chicago) has been a challenge.

Id like to find something effective preferably at a big box because I can buy a bunch of tubes and return what I dont use. I am old and horrible and only going on top once and also see iff I can fix a possible plunger switch in a fantastic fan.

HD carries Loctite brand. Has anyone found anything as good as the polyurethsne 221 that is readily available? Thanks JL

Radio silence, but I did look into this and I've decided to look at getting:

SONOLASTIC NP-1 Polyeurethane Sealant Caulking White

This is available at a local brick/mason place near me. And in looking at this, it seems that just about any sealant should work, as long as it is polyurethane.

I am also going to throw caution to the wind and try and use my Makita Multi tool with a snapper blade and VERY carefullyand slowly try and remove some of the old caulk. If it feels like it's not right, I'll stop and back to manual labor.

Basically, if it is not on the Sealants Summery posted on this Forum, I wont put it on my rig.

The product(s) you have found may be fabulous. I just dont want to be a pioneer Id rather go with what experience has proven to work.

Just my two cents.

I saw you post but you lost me at the big box request. I would be careful about treading new ground with sealant.

With that said
