Old Caulk Removal?

What's the best way and/or products to remove old caulk from outer skin roof?? In the process of polishing and need to get old caulk off.....THANKS! Also could use tips and products to reseal as needed.

I used a very sharp 1/4" chisel went very slow took about one hr to go down each side of the seam along the top edge. Then used mineral sprits and rag to clean up. I used trempro 365 as replacement. Good camping Rand
