minuet side window removal? how?

My daughter is over here right now & her Minuet 1977 6 metre is still here while I help her do some stuff to it. Today we were going to replace the window gaskets. I can't get the windows off (other than the front one). Is there some weird trick, or does one have to perform contortions to replace the gaskets? My AS windows slid right out of the channel. Hope I get some answers here while we finish up her water heater replacement! After lunch comes the gaskets! Thanks in advance....

I knew I had seen this posted somewhere...

How is the Minuet going otherwise? Good luck!

Thanks, Tom. I tried that method, but failed. I'm going to have to give it another whirl. The Minuet is coming along well. My husband & I put a water heater in for Jill & Chad yesterday. Jill is learning how to caulk today & hopefully how to put gaskets on! I hope I don't break anything. The window got stuck in the open positon when I tried this a little while ago. I'll report back....

Becky, you've probably got the side arms disengaged and are rotating the window up to get the top channel disengaged?

My Argosy had frame problems and the channel on the frame over the rear window got warped somehow. I'd rotate the window up and it really bound. It took a mighty struggle to get it off and I regretted doing so when it came to putting it back on. Still surprised I didn't break the window. My immediate afterthought was that I should have done those gaskets with the window still on the Argo in spite of any contortions and sore neck incurred to do so.

I got them off! I pushed them to almost perpendicular (sp?) to the side of the trailer & they just came right off. It went against all of my better judgement that wasn't better this time. My daughter is working on them as we speak, so I must go & be the cheerleader. (and the teacher).
Thanks for all your help!
