Intermittent Water Leak from the roof

Several weeks ago, when we were Summerizing the trailer, it was raining as it does in the Spring and we noticed a large drip coming from the ceiling over the bed. (The bed had been stained in the same location earlier and we attributed to our dog eating on the bed but maybe it had leaked there before?) After it dried up and I was able to get on the roof, I checked the caulking and found it still pliable and no obvious points of leakage. Since the trailer is 7 years old, I contacted the mothership to find out the cost of a roof reseal, figuring that would solve the problem. The quoted cost was $6000 including replacement of skylights with new OEM grade skylights. It would be $6500 to upgrade to the Maxim skylights. First available appointment is in July so we will need to deal with the leakage for a bit of the Summer. What really has stumped me on this is that we were in Oklahoma during three days of very heavy rain and experienced absolutely no leakage inside! I checked every interior seam very carefully and found no water anywhere. We have MaxxAir fans but they were not open in either occasion. Any ideas on how to find and fix an intermittent water leak?

I would....Cover ALL the seams with 3" blue painters tape
and "spray" with a hose while your helper watches inside.

Worked for us. Plus, you could leave the tape on for a time & easily replace it if needed.
