In search of: The definitive roof re-sealing manual

There seems to be a big opportunity to screw up this important maintenance task. I am wondering if anyone has seen the final truth as it relates to sealant removal, surface prep, sealant selection, and sealant application.

There are only a few places I would trust to do it right and they are logistically impractical (Ohio, Alabama, Washington), so its look like its time to figure this whole thing out.

Thanks

I too am in search of definitive answers. I have read through the sealants summary and still confused. I want to use Sikaflex products. What do I use on the major seams. 221 or 715? How do I clean and prep? I know not to use alcohol but what else do I do? I can't believe someone hasn't made a video on this.
