Foam or Rubber?

Please take a look at the pictures. Should the doors be lined with foam trim which has disintegrated or rubber seals? Not sure if the foam was original or replaced something mush sturdier. The foam has been used on all the outer storage doors.

I would guess rubber seals are appropriate. PO may have replaced original seals with foam.

The screen door on our 2002 came with foam sealing strips.

On mine foam is original. I tried to use rubber with less than satisfactory results. Removed the rubber and replaced with the proper foam from vintage trailer supply.
