Dripping from edge pan?

We’ve got some water dripping from the edge of the pan underneath the back of our trailer. I just noticed this early in the morning. The airstream is parked so that the jack is higher than the back. Any chance this could just be condensation? What are other clues of a leak? I want to take it in somewhere but it will be awhile. Any advice on how to investigate? Well...Usually the best indication that you have a leak is water dripping... Then again, maybe it could be condensation. I suppose the way to tell the difference would be to wait until later in the day, when condensation should have evaporated, and check to see if you still have a drip. Has it rained recently? If so, maybe you just have some water trapped in the belly, and it has to drain out.

If you have a consistent drip, then there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot:

Are you attached to shore water? If so, disconnect and wait to see if your drip continues. If it stops, at least this eliminates a leak from the fresh water tank.

Drain your black and grey water tanks, then do not run any additional water into them, and wait to see if you still have a drip. If it stops, then this suggests a leak from the grey or black water system rather than the fresh water system.

Open up all of the cabinetry and look for water dripping/pooling underneath.

Check any exterior exposed plumbing/tanks/dump valves.

Good luck!

Dripping water

We had a similar problem and thought it was a leaking tank also. Dropped the pan and found it full of water. Discovered the problem was water getting into the belly between the bumper and trailer. Sealed it and problem solved. I think there is a thread someplace here about this. In talking around common problem. Some people have issues with floors rotting where the water is getting in. Our floor was wet but it dried out once the pan was dropped. Drove us crazy because it would only leak sometimes. As it turned out it depended on the pitch of the trailer.
