Door gasket

Just installed my new door gasket from odmrv and boy is the door tight. How long tell it limbers up as I'm not sure kids could close it.

Modern gasket materials don't really "limber up". Eventually the man-made rubber gets brittle and cracks. Are you sure you have the correct gasket? Sounds to me like they may have sent too thick of a gasket for your door.

The correct entrance door gasket is triangular shaped.

Spraying it with "silicone spray" will help the door close a little easier.
While your at it, also spray the door lock striker plate and striker bolt.

Yes it is the right one, triangle shape. Just checked it and the heat of the day seems to be helping it buy will add the spray as well

You can get it at the same place the OP got his door gasket.
