O.K. I blew it a few days ago. We live in the mountains of northern CA where we actually have winter weather. Our 2013 FC23FB is stored outside in cold and snowy/freezing conditions. During a recent warm spell I folded open the front windscreen cover which hinges along the top; several days later and colder, I tried to close the cover and it broke free pulling several screws loose. Just discovering this, I am planning an emergency repair as we leave in several days for a Arizona (pleasure and business).
I will use low temp epoxy in the damaged screw holes but am looking for a sealant suitable for this temp repair ( I will do a "final" caulking and sealant when the weather is warmer) and available locally at your next door ACE hardware.
Would appreciate your quick advice and response as the clock is ticking.
