Wiring for Fantastic Vent

We are planning to install Fantastic Vents and were wondering if there is a way to find out if our model (1999 25' Safari) is already wired for them, other than taking the current vents down and looking. Is there a listing somewhere that we could check this out?

I had both my vents in my 92 Sovereign 21' replaced with Fantastic Vents last year. Yep. Wires were there just waiting for them. Bet yours are too!

I installed a Fantastic in a Safari ('99 or so), and, while it didn't have wires dangling in the hole, it was a simple matter to run wires over from the light fixture next to the vent.

Thanks for the information, we're going to install them ourselves, so that's why we were wondering. (Didn't know how difficult it would be if the wires aren't there.)

The toughest part of doing this on the newer trailers seems to be removing the old sealant so you can get to the mounting screws. It's kind of rubbery, but it reminds me more of chiseling concrete.

I think this is true for vintage rigs as well. We just replaced our original bath fan with a fantastic fan. I have to say the toughest part was removing all of the old sealant. Chiseling concrete is right.

I just replaced the original vent/fan in the front of our 73 Overlander and also the rear vent with Fantastic Vents and the wire was there. I agree that getting the old vent out was the hardest part but was worth it. I use one vent to bring air in and one to vent out and the results are amazing.
