Vent Covers for 1966 Caravel
I am looking for vent covers for my 1966 Caravel Airstream. One is located over the kitchen stove and the other is on the same side, not sure what it vents. The stove hole measures abut 7"x7" and the other vent is long and skinny, about 24" x 3".
If you know where I can find them I'd appreciate it.

Anyway for you to post a picture or two of these vent openings? I'm sure it would help folks identify your needs.

Are these the ones you are looking to replace? If so, I believe Inland RV has them.

I found the refrigerator vent at Vintage Trailer, though they are out of it, but not the second smaller vent, to the left in the photo above. Inland RV wants a part number.

The fridge vent - the oblong one nerest to the door - from Inland RV is not the correct size and must be cut down to fit your model and look correct. I would wait on VTS for both. They can backorder it for you and send them when they restock.
Inland has a web page with lots of their part number on it. You can start there or call and ask for Andy - he is a wealth of knowledge and posts here often.

We don't need a part number, but do need a trailer serial number, so that we can better help you.
We have the reefer vent cover, that is made with aluminum, and comes from Airstream.
The vinatge cover is plastic, which is not an improvement over what you already have.

Actually since the snow knocked them both off, I don't have either. My serial number is S 017 S 6011 born on 12/23/65.
