Roof work--Fantastic install

Ordered up a Fantastic vent and am gonna install in a couple days. Any suggestions or heads ups for me? What's the best set up and easiest way to get up there to work?

HI and welcome!

Scaffolding with cross planking is best, but barring the availabiliy of that I use a Little Giant ladder to hold a 2 X 12 and lay a large piece of hard closed-cell foam on the roof with a 2 X 6 spanning at least 2 roof rafters (rivet lines) on top of that to hold the 2 X 12. This way you are fully padded and supported and will not mar or dent the roof at all.

There have been lots of creative ways to do roof work posted here. I'm sure that a few of them will turn up here soon!
