Need to replace ceiling fan motor

I tried to look through forums before posting this but don't see what I am looking for.
Comfort air fan with ceiling control (Shurflo part #94-073-02) in my 2012 22FB Bambi is slowly dying for second time. I had local dealer replace a couple of years ago.
I thought I would try to find a compatible motor and try to install it myself. I am not overly mechanical but willing to try.
On other post I see recommendation for Fantastic Fan brand. Is this a replacement possibility? Can I get just the motor or do I have to replace the entire unit?
How difficult to change out motor versus replace entire unit.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Google shurflo part # should be easy to find motor and various prices. If can't find there is charts that cross references manf. as for replacement should be 2 wires simple hook up. I would look for motor not complete fan.

We replaced the low end fan with the top end fan -that has all the features.
Cost less than $100 off amazon

It was very easy and did not need to go on the roof, all from inside. The outside lid is the same
It has been working perfect now for 2 years
The best feature us the auto shut rain feature

MaxxAir

I would pass on the Fantastic Fan and look at the MaxxAir fan system. Fantastic Fan Corp. was a family owned company that was sold and modifications have been made to their product which I do not see as fantastic. The fan blade diameter is smaller and they went with a pancake style of motor with less power in my opinion and squeaks like crazy. I replaced my '01 can motor with the new style and found those changes unacceptable to me. I pulled it and replaced it with the can motor which was giving me bearing trouble. I am currently looking for someone to replace bearings in this '01 manufactured can motor or an identical can motor.
