Immediate Assistance Needed for Part

I have a 93 Excella and the ceiling fan outer covers are shot. Vintage Trailer and Inland do not have the plastic cover. I went on a wild goose chase to Camping World (They said they had it) and another place in Akron to no avail.

Does anyone know where I can find a cover?

I need to order one in the next day because I am taking my Airstream to a repair facility Saturday and obviously don't want hole on top. The dimensions (see pic) are 15x15 inches.

It had been painted over by the previous owner:

The brackets look like this:

Thanks in advance!

I have what I think is the same cover on my '98. It is a relatively soft plastic. I hand sanded it down (with coarse sandpaper) to virgin material and then painted it with "fusion" spray paint (for plastic). It's been two years, and it looks great. Maybe you can do a better job than the previous owner did.

That looks like a Hammond vent, like we have in our Avion. Near impossible to find covers. I was able to modify a couple of square covers that I got from CW. Took some handyman skills, but I got it done. Used the same brackets that are on your original covers, used some stainless bolts and cap nuts to fasten those brackets to the new cover (used butyl tape to seal those bolt holes), then had to shave off most of the reinforcing spline that is molded into the new cover so the vent fan would clear when closed. It didn't make a tight seal when closed, but it was close. I have some of those other RV vent covers over the vents, so that hasn't posed a problem.

My long-term solution will be to replace those Hammond vents with Fantastic Fans. Previous owner had already replaced the one over the front living area. I like it a lot!

If at all possible, like a previous poster said: I'd try real hard to salvage the covers you have.

Looks like the same cover I have on the '74 Argosy only mine are metal. And they are still in one piece after all of these years.

I would like to have been able to salvage them but they crumble at the slightest touch. I wrapped it up in aluminum foil and placed it back because we ar getting a ton of rain in N,E. Ohio.

Depending on how long you can wait, I believe that is the same one I have on my '01 Limited in the front living area. It's being replaced this weekend (10/30-10/31) provided the weather cooperates. You're more than welcome to the whole assembly or just the cover.
I'm replacing the entire thing due to the failure of the little gearbox that lifts the cover and activated the fan. It has finally bit the dust, but other than the rotten gears, the rest of it is in good shape. I am holding onto the interior fixture in hopes I can make it work somehow with the replacement fan.
Let me know if your interested....

Looks the same as my '89 Excella. It had aluminum rim and translucent plastic insert. Maybe someone out there with used parts has one ....I think '85 thru '93 were the same model and trim components.
Can anyone step in with the link to used parts guy...I remember seeing it in a previous thread a while back.

Meantime cover with plastic and Duct tape

Found out the part number (921105) and called the Airstream dealer. He wanted 40% more than Out of Doors Mart. Thanks all. No aluminum rim, just all plastic. Aluminum rim would have been nice though.

I had forgotten about those at VTS. No, I didn't use that one. I'm too cheap! Not really..... Just bugs me that folks charge so much for so little.
