Welcome Aboard....👍

You would have to drill out the rivets, I would seal around the edge and over the rivet heads with 3M Extreme Sealing tape..

I have used it on the skylight, FF vents, seams, and antenna.
Lasts well with no leaks in 7 yrs.👍

Thanks Bob
I’ll already have used 3m extreme tape for the fantastic fan.
Once you drill out the rivets, how do you put it back together ?

Olympic rivets (fancy pop rivet) is the only way unless you have tools and access to put in new buck rivets. I’d leave it and just seal it up as discussion prior.

I would leave the rivets...

I did not remove the screws for the FF in the photo, just cleaned VERY well and covered them and the edge with 3m tape.👍

Yeah, or, leave it be unless you know it's a leaker.

The rivets can be replaced with #10 stainless screws, put dabs of sikaflex into the screw hole, and tighten them up. Dabs of sikaflex over the top of each screw will help later, but is really not necessary.
