How do I install vent covers over my vent covers?

Hello nice people, I have replaced the 3 vent covers, that crank from the inside, on my 1975 AS 31' Sov.. I am now trying to install outside covers, made by Ramble (those with the big "R" on the side), over my new covers. These are the tear-drop style that allows you to leave the vents open and not allow rain to enter the camper. The problem I'm having installing these is the Ramble's have a flat botton that I need to mount to the curved top of my AS. I've seen these on lot's of AS's so I know someone out there has solved this problem. I would sure like to hear your solution's.Pictures would be a big help. Thanks for any help.

I wondered about this too. I don't see many of out there, so I'd have to guess there's not a lot of first hand experience on the forum. Did you ask the manufacturer? Sometimes they make special accessories for Airstreams. Maybe you could have a bunch with curved bottoms made up, have em painted gray, and start a side business selling em at the rallies.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
