Fantastic Fan fuse

Our Fantastic fan fuse blew, it is 4 AMP/125 VOLT, I am unable to find a replacement locally. The closet that I could find was 4 AMP/250 VOLT, since the fan is 12 volt can I use this one?

Yup. A 4 amp fuse will blow at 4 amps, no matter the voltage.

Your fan is only running on 12 volts anyway.

The main difference between a 125 volt fuse and a 250 volt fuse is the 250 volt fuse body is stronger to prevent the body from shattering when the fuse blows, and there is ‘stuff’ in them to quench a higher voltage arc.

They blow at the same current…which won’t be absolutely exact. They are not that precise. The amp rating is that most of them blow aut at currents around their rating.
