Fan Bracket

Here goes! I have a 1967 Overlander and noticed the fan in one of the vents has 2 bars that don't seem to fit and are not fastened to anything. The ones in the back are round and are riveted to the side of the vent opening. How would I go about finding replacements?

Welcome to the forum.

I take it you want round, motor-mounting bars for the original front vent like the original back vent has? It is doubtful new ones are being made - You would have to go to a junkyard, or make new ones yourself.

Most people appear to replace the original fan assembly with Fan-tastic Vents.

Sounds like a PO may have tried to replace the motor or did replace it and did not remount it correctly. I would not waste time trying to find replacement motor supports but do as TomW suggested and replace it with a Fan-tastic Vent fan. It will be quieter, move more air and draw less amps.

I guess I will add it to the long list of items to fix. Thanks for the responses.
