Baraldi exhaust fan vibrating knocking sound

The exhaust fan over the stove in my 2019 FC runs quietly some of the time but starts vibrating loudly at random times. Has anyone else noticed this and if so found a solution.

we have a similar issue

IMHO, the fan itself was not properly balanced. thus at speed it wobbles

next spring, i want to remove the fan blades and take it to a machine shop for balancing

It is apparent that the fan is not balanced well. There are no blades, it is a plastic squirrel cage. I disassembled the fan unit from the hood to take a look, then reassembled it and tightened the four mounting screws. It runs much smoother now. Don’t know how long this will last, but it is much better now.
