Wool Pile, aka fuzzy seal

Prime Line Products T8659 is exactly what will fit to keep the insects from entering the open slot for window arm travel. Problem is that the above has a plastic head which is not needed for glueing the pile in place.
Anyone try this, or have a source for the correct 1/2" pile?

I buy mine by the foot from Out of Doors Mart in Colfax, NC. They are happy to do mail order.
