When we bought our 66 Safari, the PO said he didn't use the side window by the goucho because it was broke. So now that I got a minute I took it a part to see what the problem is. Well.. the track that the glass fits in is all bent up... and while to two ends were still in the correct place the middle of it is hatcheted up. The window from is fine. I worked all day today .. well really only about 3 hours , but it seemed like all day , and haven't gotten anywhere. I am wondering if anyone knows where I could possibly find a track for this window? I hate to not be able to use it, and worse try to squeeze it in place only to break the glass that is in it. Help Please!!
Thanks ,
Barry & Karen in Mi.
OK got picture thing figured out... I'll try and get a shot of the window frame... but really nothing to see.. I am asking here for a place to get a new upper window frame that the glass sits in... Being a 66 Safari there is no other supporting window frame for the glass edges.. . The piece I need is 39" long.

Parts for Corning windows are very hard to come by and new part are as scare as hens teeth.
A picture may help someone that has spare parts floating around.
BE CAREFUL. That glass, like all tempered glass, will shatter when nicked or whacked at "just the right spot." No undue force either. Look in the search area and you will find info on 66 - 68 windows. If all else fails...check with Inland and Andy.
